AGM Spectrum 4K-Mini Digital Day & Night Vision Scope

The AGM Spectrum 4K-Mini gives hunters 4K digital day and night performance in a compact, lightweight riflescope built for the field. At only about 1 pound, it carries over many of the features found in AGM’s larger Spectrum 4K platform while leaving out the integrated laser rangefinder to keep the package smaller, lighter, and more affordable.

At the heart of the Spectrum 4K-Mini is a 3840 × 2160 Ultra-HD CMOS sensor paired with a sharp 1920 × 1080 OLED display. During the day, you get a detailed full-color image. When the sun goes down, the scope transitions into digital night vision and takes advantage of AGM’s newer 4K sensor technology, which is more sensitive to infrared light than older digital platforms.

That makes the Spectrum 4K-Mini especially versatile for hunters who want one optic that can handle everything from normal daytime hunting to low-light conditions and nighttime predator or hog hunting.

The Spectrum 4K-Mini also gives you the ability to choose between 50Hz at full 4K resolution or 100Hz at 1080p. The 4K setting delivers maximum image detail, while the 100Hz mode provides a smoother image when tracking moving hogs, coyotes, and other fast-moving targets.

With a 3.5× base magnification and 3.5×–20.5× overall magnification range, the Spectrum 4K-Mini is a strong fit for predator hunters, hog hunters, and anyone hunting more open terrain where a little extra base magnification comes in handy.

Lightweight Digital Day & Night Performance

One of the biggest advantages of the Spectrum 4K-Mini is the size and weight.

Many digital night vision scopes can add a lot of bulk to a rifle. AGM kept the Spectrum 4K-Mini down to approximately 16 ounces, making it a great option for hunters who carry their rifle for long periods, walk fields, move between stands, or simply want to keep their setup balanced.

The standard 30mm scope tube also makes mounting simple and gives the optic a more traditional riflescope feel compared to many larger digital platforms.

Built-In Recording, Streaming & 32GB Storage

The AGM Spectrum 4K-Mini includes the recording and connectivity features that are changing how a lot of hunters use their riflescopes.

You get:

  • Onboard video recording
  • Audio recording
  • Shot-activated recording
  • Wi-Fi connectivity
  • AGM Connect app compatibility
  • Live viewing through a compatible phone
  • 32GB of internal storage

For many hunters, this is one of the biggest reasons to move from a traditional daytime riflescope into the Spectrum lineup.

Instead of only the shooter being able to see what is happening through the optic, family members or hunting partners can follow along from a connected phone. That can be especially valuable when helping a child or new hunter get on an animal, watching exactly what they are seeing through the scope, or capturing a first hunt without adding a separate camera system to the rifle.

It also gives hunters an easy way to save and share their hunts directly from the optic.

Excellent Low-Light Capability

Another major advantage of the Spectrum 4K-Mini over a traditional daytime optic is what happens as the light starts disappearing.

The 4K digital sensor is designed to continue performing during the low-light periods around sunrise and sunset, giving hunters additional capability when traditional glass can start becoming difficult to use.

And when legal hunting opportunities continue after dark, the same optic can transition into digital night vision for coyotes, hogs, and other nighttime hunting applications where permitted.

That ability to go from daytime hunting to low light and then into full night use is what makes the Spectrum platform so versatile.

Dual-Battery Power System

AGM powers the Spectrum 4K-Mini with a built-in rechargeable battery combined with a replaceable 18650 battery.

The dual-battery system provides up to 7.8 hours of runtime, giving hunters plenty of operating time for long sits and nighttime hunts.

The replaceable 18650 battery is a major advantage in the field because you can carry charged spares and extend your hunting time without having to stop and recharge the entire optic.

A Great Partner for a Thermal Monocular

For hunters who already use a thermal monocular for scanning, the Spectrum 4K-Mini makes a very capable rifle-mounted partner.

A thermal monocular allows you to quickly locate animals in complete darkness, while the Spectrum gives you a familiar riflescope-style platform for identifying, aiming, recording, and taking the shot.

That combination gives hunters the advantages of thermal detection without requiring a thermal riflescope on the gun.

For hunters who want to use the same rifle during the day, hunt low-light periods, and still have nighttime capability for hogs and coyotes, a thermal monocular paired with the AGM Spectrum 4K-Mini is an excellent setup.

Who Is the AGM Spectrum 4K-Mini For?

The Spectrum 4K-Mini makes the most sense for hunters who want one optic they can use from daylight into darkness without adding unnecessary weight to the rifle.

It is especially well suited for:

  • Traditional daytime hunting
  • Parents helping kids or new hunters
  • Hunters who want to record their hunts
  • Hunters who want to stream the scope view to a phone
  • Low-light hunting
  • Coyote and predator hunting
  • Hog hunting
  • Hunters who scan with a thermal monocular
  • Hunters who prefer a lightweight rifle setup
  • Hunters who already carry a handheld rangefinder
  • Shooters who prefer standard 30mm mounting

The biggest feature you give up compared to the larger Spectrum LRF 4K is the integrated laser rangefinder.

If you do not need an onboard LRF, the Spectrum 4K-Mini gives you most of the important digital features in a significantly smaller and lighter package.

The SPO Take

We have seen a lot of hunters start replacing traditional daytime riflescopes with optics from the AGM Spectrum lineup, and it is easy to understand why.

You still get the familiar experience of hunting with a riflescope, but now you gain the ability to record hunts, stream the scope view to a phone, perform in low-light conditions, and continue hunting after dark for coyotes and hogs where legal.

For parents, that phone streaming capability is a big deal. You can watch exactly what your child or a new hunter is seeing through the scope, help them get on the animal, and even record those first hunts and memories without needing an additional camera.

The low-light performance is another big advantage. Instead of losing visibility as daylight fades, the Spectrum gives hunters more capability during those critical periods around sunrise and sunset.

Then, when paired with a thermal monocular for scanning, the Spectrum 4K-Mini becomes an extremely versatile hunting setup. Use thermal to locate the animal, then transition to the rifle-mounted Spectrum for identification, aiming, recording, and the shot.

For the hunter who wants one optic that can handle daytime hunting, low light, nighttime hogs and coyotes, recording, and live streaming, the AGM Spectrum 4K-Mini gives you a lot more versatility than a traditional daytime scope while keeping the rifle lightweight and easy to carry.
