DNT ThermNight TNC635R Multispectral Thermal & Night Vision Scope with LRF and Ballistic Calculator

The DNT ThermNight TNC635R is a true 24/7 multispectral riflescope designed for both daytime and nighttime use. Combining thermal imaging, full-color daytime digital imaging, and advanced digital night vision into one compact and rugged optic, the ThermNight lineup gives hunters the ability to use the same scope at the range during the day and directly transition into nighttime hog and coyote hunting after dark.

The thermal channel features a 640 × 512, 12µm, ≤18mK NETD thermal sensor paired with a 35mm F/1.0 germanium objective lens, delivering excellent thermal sensitivity, strong target separation, and dependable image quality in difficult hunting conditions. The 1.5× base magnification combined with the wider field of view works especially well for scanning large fields, agricultural terrain, feeder setups, and tracking multiple animals quickly.

Unlike traditional thermal-only optics, the ThermNight series also includes a Sony Starvis 2 1920 × 1080 digital imaging sensor capable of full-color daytime use and advanced low-light night vision performance. The digital channel provides a crisp image with a 5× base magnification and digital zoom up to 20×, giving hunters improved environmental detail and target identification when needed.

Combined with the included removable 850nm IR illuminator (Class 3R eye safe), the ThermNight maintains excellent visibility and image quality even in complete darkness. These sensors, paired with the 1920 × 1080 Micro-OLED display, provide excellent image clarity and target identification in nearly any lighting condition.

The TNC635R also includes an integrated laser rangefinder capable of ranging targets out to 1,200 yards along with an onboard ballistic calculator for fast holdover corrections and improved precision in the field.

Powered by a non-proprietary 21700 flat-top rechargeable battery, the ThermNight TNC635R delivers up to 5.5 hours of continuous runtime while also supporting USB-C external power sources for extended operation during long nights in the field.

Built for demanding hunting environments, the ThermNight TNC635R features an IP67 waterproof and dustproof housing while remaining lightweight and compact at just 25.6 ounces. The optic is recoil rated up to .50 BMG, making it suitable for both AR platforms and larger-caliber bolt-action setups.

From our experience at Southern Precision Outdoors, the TNC635R is especially impressive for hunters wanting a wider field of view for scanning large fields, cutovers, and agricultural terrain. The lower 1.5× base magnification works extremely well for locating multiple hogs quickly while still maintaining enough image detail for confident shot placement.

The ability to instantly transition between thermal imaging and digital day/night mode gives hunters significantly more flexibility than many standalone thermal scopes, especially for hunters wanting one optic capable of daytime range use and nighttime predator hunting.
